It's Time For An Intervention

I came to a sad realization yesterday. :(

I hadn't noticed before, but now that I've noticed, there is no turning back.

and I blame Scott.

That's right.  If it wasn't for that fateful day in September of 1982, I would not have this problem. :(

What problem you ask?
(well, in all truth, if you had checked out the Scott link, you would already know.)

I've been going overboard with freaking emoticons.  ;)
Yes, that's right, it looks like the keyboard threw up all over my posts, comments, and statuses....and what's worse...none of you said..."What the hell is with the overuse of emoticons? O_o"

I mean maybe it isn't that bad yet.  I never add noses to my emoticons and I don't use the :P one either.  I think that once you do that, you are a whole new level of ridiculousness...am I right?  D:

  1. The Scott link doesn’t work for me :(

Never mind, I think I can see what you’re saying. As a rule I only ever use a sad or smiley face, although there have been occasions I’ve been lured into more. But, I’ve had therapy, and have got a lot better since :)

The Scott link didn't work for me either...but those emoticons drive me crazy, however I didn't notice that you have been over-using them lately. I will now pay more attention!!!

  8. I'm with Tom - if you're just using smilies, you're fine. Wait until you start using the tricky ones! I moderate message boards for a living. You wanna see some over usage...go read those lol. And for my grand finale emotion - ;O)
